| 1 | Remove engine management control unit and place to one side with coolant lines connected | AR07.08-P-7013MNE | |
| 2 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical connections of the charging pressure control pressure converter (Y31/5) | ||
| 3 | Remove screw/bolts (4) | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 4 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical plug connection of the ignition coil at cylinders 1 +2 (T4) | ||
| 5 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical plug connection of the ignition coil at cylinders 3+4 (T4/1) | ||
| 6 | Loosen the clip (18) at the high-pressure line | ||
| 7 | Remove the clip (7) from the engine management control unit bracket (5) | ||
| 8 | Remove the clip (11) from the engine management control unit bracket (5) | ||
| 9 | Remove the clip (17) from the engine management control unit bracket (5) | ||
| 10 | Remove the clip (20) at the engine suspension lug | ||
| 11 | Remove the screw (14) | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 12 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical connection of the CAMTRONIC actuator at the input to the cylinder 2 (Y49/11) | ||
| 13 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical plug connection (21) | ||
| 14 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical plug connection (19) of the fuel injector at cylinder 4 (Y76/4) | ||
| 15 | Unlock and disconnect the electrical plug connection of the right-hand charge air temperature sensor (B17/15) | ||
| 16 | Remove the vacuum hoses (10) from the boost pressure positioner (Y77/1) | ||
| 17 | Remove screws/bolts (8) | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 18 | Unclip the bracket (12) from the engine suspension lug | ||
| 19 | Put the engine wiring harness (1) and the cable duct (2) to one side | ||
| 20 | Remove the engine management control unit bracket (5) | ||
| 21 | Remove the elastomer bearings (6) at the engine management control unit bracket (5) | When replacing the engine management control unit bracket (5). |

| Antifriction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00 If the elastomer bearings (6) are damaged or missing ↓ Replace the elastomer bearings (6). |
