- Release and disconnect electrical connections (1).
- Unclip retaining clip (2).
- Release and disconnect electrical connection of CAMTRONIC actuator for exhaust cylinder 3 (Y49/14).
- Release and disconnect electrical connection of CAMTRONIC actuator for exhaust cylinder 2 (Y49/12).
- Release and disconnect electrical connection of CAMTRONIC actuator for exhaust cylinder 3 (Y49/13).
- Release and disconnect electrical connection from right exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (B6/7).
- Release and disconnect electrical connection from right intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/5).
- Release and disconnect electrical connections from right exhaust camshaft solenoid (Y49/7).
- Release and disconnect electrical connections from right intake camshaft solenoid (Y49/5).
- Release and disconnect electrical connections from right fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/1).
- Release and disconnect electrical connections from fuel injectors of cylinder 1 to 3 (Y76/1, Y76/2, Y76/3).
- Unclip retaining clip (7).

- Remove screw (3)
- Connect in reverse order.
