Assessment of damage on left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2)
Make sure that the retaining tabs (1) and guides (2) shown here do not exert any influence on proper operation. They are only relevant for assembly during vehicle production.
If the retaining tabs (1) are damaged, there is no need to replace the front left light unit (E1) or the front right light unit (E2).

It must be ensured that the guides shown (arrows) have no influence on proper function. They are only relevant for assembly in vehicle production.
If the guides (arrows) are damaged, it is not necessary to replace the front left light unit (E1) or the front right light unit (E2).
Model 206, 213, 223, 238, 253, 257, 290, 293 If the retaining tabs (5) are damaged, the front left light unit (E1) or front right light unit (E2) do not need to be replaced.
