The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.
- Install rear-end floor (1) with straightening tool, fit and fix in place.
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet on rear-end floor (1) through present holes in rear-end floor (1) (area A).
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in rear-end floor (1) from outside through present holes in body (area B).
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in rear-end floor (1) from bottom through present holes in body (area C).
- Countersink rivet holes (areas A, B and C).
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in rear-end floor (1) (area T).
Only on repair on right side of vehicle.
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm in rear-end floor (1) from outside through present holes in body (area U).
Only on repair on right side of vehicle.
- Install adapter panel (10), fit and fix in place.
- Mark positions for rivet holes on adapter panel (10).

d1 = approx. 16 mm
d2 = approx. 64 mm
e1 = approx. 46 mm
e2 = approx. 56 mm
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in adapter panel (10) (areas F and G).
Drill rivet holes in previously marked positions (area F).
- Remove rear-end floor (1) and adapter panel (10).
- Deburr rivet holes on rear-end floor (1), adapter panel (10) and body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Coat insides of riveted joints on adapter panel (10) with zinc dust paint (areas F and G).
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.
Only on repair on right side of vehicle.

- Install rear-end floor (1) with straightening tool and fix in place.
- Install adapter panel (10) and fix in place.
- Rivet rear-end floor (1) with Ø 6.4x17.0 countersunk head rivet (areas H).
- Rivet rear-end floor (1) with Ø 6.4x21.0 countersunk head rivet (area I).
- Rivet adapter panel (10) with Ø 6.4x12 rivet (area J).
- Rivet adapter panel (10) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivet (area K).
- Rivet adapter panel (10) with Ø 6.4 rivet (area L).
- Rivet rear-end floor (1) with Ø 6.4 rivets (area W).
Only on repair on right side of vehicle.
- Rivet rear-end floor (1) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivet (area V).
Only on repair on right side of vehicle.
- Install rear longitudinal member (2), fit and fix in place.
- Drill rivet holes on rear longitudinal member (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit (areas M and N).
Drill rivet holes through present holes in body (area M).
- Remove rear longitudinal member (2).
- Deburr rivet holes on longitudinal member (2) and body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.
Apply 2-component adhesive to inside (area O).
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install rear longitudinal member (2) and fix in place.
- Rivet rear longitudinal member (2) with Ø 6.5x12.5 rivet (area P).
- Rivet rear longitudinal member (2) with Ø 6.4 M6 rivet (areas Q).
- Rivet rear longitudinal member (2) with Ø 6.4 rivet (area R).
