Partially Separate Side Wall Reinforcement - Ar63.20-P-0861-01LWT

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Expose spot welds on side wall reinforcement (10) and cut out (area A).
2. Remove side wall reinforcement (10) together with rear-end floor and remove rear longitudinal member.

   After removing rear-end floor and rear longitudinal.

3. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   After installing rear-end floor and rear longitudinal.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

4. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
5. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
