| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove Rear license plate reinforcement. | ||

| 4 | Disconnect electrical connectors (2). | ||

| 6 | Disconnect electrical connection (4). | ||
| 7 | Unscrew nuts (5). | ||
| 8 | Remove handle (1) with trunk lid/liftgate external operation switch (S88/8) outward. | ||
| 9.1 | Use suitable tool to push bracket (6) downward. | Model 205.2, 253.1/9 with Code 218 (Rear view camera) Model 205.2, 253.1/9 with Code 501 (360° camera) When replacing handle (1). |
