| 1 | Deactivate anti-theft alarm system (ATA). | Model 257, 290 with code 2U8 (Alternative refrigerant) with code 882 (Interior motion sensor) |

| 2 | Disconnect ground line from battery. | AR54.10-P-0003FR | |
| 3 | Remove right front wheel. | AR40.10-P-1102A | |
| 4 | Remove rear fender liner in right front fender. | AR88.10-P-1301FR | |
| 5 | Open clamp (arrow A) of the piping (2) and remove piping (2) from the inerting system cartridge (1). | ||
| 6 | Disconnect cable tie (arrow B). | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector (3). | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Remove screw (5). | ||
| 9 | Unscrew nuts (4) and remove inerting system cartridge (1) with the bracket. | *BA86.10-P-1001-03E | |
| 10 | Disconnect electrical connector from the alarm siren and unclip electric line from the bracket. | Model 257, 290 with code 2U8 (Alternative refrigerant) with code 882 (Interior protection and tow-away protection) |

| 11 | Install in the reverse order. |
