| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover (1) on instrument panel (2) (arrows B). | Fig 1 | |
| 3 | Turn center instrument panel tweeter (5) counterclockwise in direction of arrow (A) and remove upwards. | Model 257, 290 with code 811 (High-End sound system) |

| 4 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) and remove center instrument panel tweeter (5). | Model 257, 290 with code 811 (High-End sound system) |

| 5 | Pull center instrument panel mid-range speaker (6) upwards out of mount. | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connectors (4) and remove center instrument panel mid-range speaker (6). | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. |
