Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge

Route instrument cluster electric line (11) along vehicle wiring harnesses from device installation frame of the instrument cluster to the device installation frame of the head unit.
Ensure wiring harness is routed correctly and free of chafing points.

Otherwise, the instrument cluster electric line (11) may be damaged.

The curry yellow connector socket (12) is connected at a later stage connected to the instrument cluster.

Remove secondary fuse (10.1) at beige connector socket (10).
The secondary fuse (10.1) will be reused.
Install instrument cluster electric line (11) into clamp "2" of beige connector socket (10).
Mount secondary fuse (10.1) onto beige connector socket (10).
The beige connector socket (10) is connected at a later stage to the head unit.
