Prepare Vehicle For Checking/Correcting Headlamp Adjustment - AP82.10-P-8260-10F

- For checking or correcting the headlamp adjustment, the vehicle must
be correctly positioned on the headlamp adjustment station and the vehicle must be in a ready-to-drive condition.
Vehicle in ready-to-drive condition means: Correct tire pressure,
Correctly calibrated vehicle level including zero position adjustment,
Steering is in straight-ahead position.

The vehicle must be unladen.
Identify chassis variants
Check if steel springs are installed at front and rear axle or using the data card.
Preparatory activity
- Close doors.
- Activate "Comfort" mode.

Vehicle level button (N72/4s2) is at "normal level", LED does not light up.

Hold down vehicle level button (N72/4s2) for 5 s and move to calibrated vehicle level, LED lights up.
Release vehicle level button (N72/4s2) immediately after 5 seconds.
Otherwise the vehicle runs completely to the raised level.
The calibrated vehicle level is automatically reset after a change in ignition status or vehicle speed ≥ 2 km/h.
Once the vehicle has moved all the way to the raised level,
drive the vehicle at a vehicle speed of ≥ 2 km/h.
