	Preparatory activity
1	Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "1" (circuit 15R).	There must be no fault messages shown on the multifunction display (4).
	Open workshop level
2	Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) to select the "Trip" menu item in the multifunction display (4).
3	Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) in the "Trip" menu to select the standard "Total distance" display in the multifunction display (4).
4	Press and hold "Back" (2) button for 1.5 s and press on finger navigation pad (3).	The multifunction display (4) shows the Workshop menu with the tabs: "Vehicle data", "Dynamometer test", "Brakepad change mode" or "Brakepad change", "ASSYST PLUS", "Head-up-display" (depending on equipment installed).
	Close workshop level
5	Press Back" button (2) again until the workshop entry menu is shown on the multifunction display (4).
6	Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) to select and confirm the "Trip" menu item.
	Finishing activity
7	Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0".
