Do not install damaged low-pressure lines (1).
Leaks on the fuel system and environmental damage can occur otherwise.
- Pull union nut (1a) at low-pressure line (1) towards rear.
- Clean sealing cone (1b) of low-pressure line (1).
- Check sealing cone (1b) and fittings at high-pressure pump for score marks and particulate residues.
If a complaint has been submitted, ↔ Replace low-pressure line (1).
- Check sealing cone (1b), fittings at high-pressure pump and fuel distributor for visible deformation.
