Tightening Procedure Of Integrated Starter Alternator - AR15.40-P-0003-01MRT

IMPORTANT Replace all screws/bolts with new ones.

NOTES Compliance with the tightening instructions is mandatory.

Otherwise, the rotor is in danger of tilting.

  1. Screw in screws (1, 2, 3, 4) of the integrated starter alternator (A79) on the crankshaft up to the screw head bearing surface.
  2. Then, screw in screws (1, 2, 3, 4) of the integrated starter alternator (A79) on the crankshaft in the numerical sequence until the rotor makes contact with the crankshaft flange. Tighten screws (1, 2, 3, 4) of the integrated starter alternator (A79) on the crankshaft again with torque stage 1 in the numerical sequence

    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 176

    Engine 177 TORQUE SPECIFICATION

    IMPORTANT When tightening the screws (1, 2, 3, 4), counterhold engine on the crankshaft.

  3. Tighten screws (A, B, C, D) of the centering flange (10) on the crankshaft with torque stage 1 in the alphanumerical sequence Engine 256.9

    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 176

    Engine 177 TORQUE SPECIFICATION

    IMPORTANT Install new centering flange (10) every time the engine and the transmission are disconnected from each other.

    IMPORTANT When tightening the screws (A, B, C, D), counterhold the engine on the crankshaft.

  4. Tighten screws (1, 2, 3, 4) of the integrated starter alternator (A79) on the crankshaft with tightening angle stage 2 in the numerical sequence Engine 256.9

    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 176 Engine 177 TORQUE SPECIFICATION .

    IMPORTANT When tightening the screws (1, 2, 3, 4), counterhold engine on the crankshaft.

  5. Tighten screws (A, B, C, D) of the centering flange (10) on the crankshaft with tightening angle stage 2 in the alphanumerical sequence.

    IMPORTANT When tightening the screws (A, B, C, D), counterhold the engine on the crankshaft.
