Remove/Install Engine Oil Separator - AR01.20-P-9750MSA

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing engine oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover.   AR01.10-P-2405MSA 
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.  
2 Remove front noise insulation.    
3 Remove engine wiring harness (3) and line clips (A) from oil separator (1) and place to one side.    
4 Remove full load bleed line (2) from oil separator (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 2
5 Remove screws (5). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, oil separator to cylinder head cover *BA01.20-P-1003-01L 
6 Remove oil separator (1) and seal openings with a lint-free rag. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace seals.  
7 Remove adhesive label (6). When installing a new oil separator (1).  
CLEAN Clean     
8 Clean sealing surfaces. IMPORTANT Use lint-free rags.  
9 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
10 Check engine oil level and correct.

WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11 Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness.    
12 Install upper engine cover.   AR01.10-P-2405MSA
