	Remove/install
1	Move steering column forward and all the way up.	When removing front seat (1) on driver's side.
2	Move front seat (1) forward and all the way up.
3	Remove bolts (3) from guide rails.	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
4	Remove covers (2).
5	Move front seat (1) to the rear and all the way down.
6	Unclip trim (6) towards rear and remove.

8	Remove bolts (5).	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
9	Remove covers (4).
10	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.		AR54.10-P-0003FR
11	Tilt back front seat (1).	Ensure that lock pins of guide rails in vehicle floor are seated correctly.
12	Disconnect pneumatic line from underside of front seat (1).	Model 257, 290 with code 432 (Left and right dynamic multicontour seat)
13	Disconnect electrical connectors from underside of front seat (1).	The number of electrical connectors is dependent on the vehicle equipment.
14	Cover up center console, door sill and door sill.

15	Remove front seat (1) from vehicle.	Carefully remove front seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise vehicle components may be damaged. Helper required.
16	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against falling over.
17	Install in the reverse order.
