Location
The sliding roof control module is located at the front left on the frame of the sliding roof.
Task
The sliding roof control module has the following tasks:
- Reading in of sensors and signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Actuation of components
Reading in of sensors and signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
- Direct line (internal)
- Interior CAN (CAN B)
Direct line (internal)
The sliding roof control module reads in the signals from the following sensors over direct lines:
- Hall sensor 1, sliding roof (A98/1b1)
- Hall sensor 2, sliding roof (A98/1b2)
Interior CAN
The sliding sunroof control module reads in, among other things, the following signals via the interior CAN:
- Terminal status of terminal 15
- Door status (open/closed)
- Status of roof system switch (N70s1)
- Energy state of on-board electrical system
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Actuation of components
The sliding sunroof control module actuates the sliding sunroof motor (A98/1m1) via direct lines.
