Bonding surfaces must be free from dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components.

Otherwise, there may be adhesion problems.

Only use repair kit specified in XENTRY Portal parts information.

1. Open adhesive cartridges and insert in sealing and corrosion protection gun.

   

   To press out the remaining residual quantities in the adhesive cartridges, insert adapters in adhesive cartridges and plates at push rods of sealing and corrosion protection gun.

2. Cut application nozzle so that the adhesive bead can be applied with a height of 14 mm and a width of 8 to 10 mm.

   

   The height of adhesive bead must be 3 mm when installed.

3. Install application nozzle on adhesive cartridge.
4. Fabricate reference adhesive bead.

   

   The reference adhesive bead is used to check and confirm the adhesive curing of the adhesively bonded connection before moving the vehicle for the first time after gluing in the front stationary element (1).

5. Apply adhesive material evenly on the bonding surfaces on the panoramic sliding sunroof frame.

   Apply adhesive material as quickly as possible and position front stationary element (1) on the panoramic sliding sunroof frame and fix it in place as quickly as possible.

   Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   

   Apply adhesive material in the form of an adhesive bead with a height of approx. 14 mm and a width of approx. 8 to 10 mm.

   

   Immediately remove soiling caused by adhesive.
