Adjust Panoramic Sliding Sunroof - AR77.21-P-6924MFA

WARNING Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
INSPECT Check     
1 Close sliding roof panel (1).    
2 Check front height offset (a) of fixed glass section (3) to sliding roof panel (1) and adjust if necessary. IMPORTANT Rear edge of fixed glass section (3) must be flush or lie max. 2 mm above sliding roof panel (1).
The dimension of the front height offset (a) must be the same size over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).
 
3 Check rear height offset (b) of sliding roof panel (1) to rear roof paneling (4) and adjust if necessary. IMPORTANT Front edge of rear roof paneling (4) must be flush or lie max. 2 mm above sliding roof panel (1).
The dimension of the rear height offset (b) must be the same over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).
 
  Adjust     
4 Raise sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position and open until screws (2) can be accessed.    
5 Release all screws (2) until sliding roof panel (1) can just be moved.    
6 Close sliding roof panel (1).    
7 Set front height offset (a) at sliding roof panel (1) so that rear edge of fixed glass section (3) is flush with or lies max. 2 mm above fully closed sliding roof panel (1). IMPORTANT The dimension of the front height offset (a) must be the same size over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).  
8 Raise sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position and open until front screws (2) can be accessed.    
9 Tighten front screws (2) at sliding roof panel (1).    
10 Close sliding roof panel (1).    
11 Set rear height offset (b) at left and right side of sliding roof panel (1) so that rear edge of sliding roof panel (1) is flush with or lies max. 2 mm above rear roof paneling (4). IMPORTANT The dimension of the rear height offset (b) must be the same over the entire width of sliding roof panel (1).  
12 Raise sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position and open until rear screws (2) can be accessed.    
13 Tighten rear screws (2) at sliding roof panel (1).    
14 Close sliding roof panel (1).    
  Concluding tasks     
15 Normalize panoramic sliding sunroof using vehicle diagnosis system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function.
