Remove/Install Electric Steering Lock (ELV) - AR46.10-P-0920MFA

Model 118, 177, 247 

with code 426 (Automatic dual-clutch transmission, 8-speed)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform commissioning of electric steering lock control unit (N26/5). If the electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) is replaced.  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
2 Switch off ignition. Model 118, 177, 247
with code 426 (Automatic dual-clutch transmission, 8-speed) with code 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
IMPORTANT The transmitter key must remain in the vehicle, otherwise the steering lock is locked and cannot be removed.
 
3 Remove steering column tube (3).   AR46.10-P-0400MFA 
4 Remove screw (1). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, steering lock control unit to steering column tube *BA46.10-P-1002-03I 
5 Operate catch hook (2) and remove electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) from steering column tube (3).    
6 Install in the reverse order.
