5	Check whether Mercedes me symbol incl. tracking symbol (1) is activated.
	Restricting
6	Confirm menu item "Restrict remote access to vehicle because of workshop operations?" in driver's display (4) with "OK".	The driver display (4) shows the "Remote functions restricted, Service Required" message. If the message "Remote functions not available or defective, please check Status" appears in the driver's display (4), ↓ the remote functions cannot be restricted. Rectify problem. After obtaining special order.
	Check
7	Check whether Mercedes me symbol incl. tracking symbol (1) is deactivated.	Only if Mercedes me symbol incl. tracking symbol (1) was activated beforehand.
	Deactivation

If the message "Remote functions not available or defective, please check Status" appears in the driver's display (4), ↓ the remote functions cannot be restored. Rectify problem. After obtaining special order.
