The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

Additional information can be found in the superordinate service document.

The safety information in the superordinate service document must be observed.

1. Expose spot welds on crossbar under front seat at the front (3) and cut off (areas F_1a , F_2a , F_3a , F_4a , F_5a , F_6a , F_7a , and F_8a ).
2. Remove crossbar under seat at the front (3).
3. Grind all spot welds down to bare metal on the main floor.
4. Remove grinding dust and contamination.
