| 2 | Remove seat backrests in the rear passenger compartment. | AR91.12-P-1713MFV | |
| 3 | Remove screw (6) from seat belt end fitting of the center seat belt (5). | *BA91.40-P-1006-01X | |
| 4 | Remove belt outlet trim (2) from rear shelf (1). | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Guide seat belt end fitting through the opening of the belt outlet trim (2). | ||
| 6 | Remove retaining clips (3). | Fig 1 | |
| 7 | Press rear shelf (1) downward slightly in the rear area and pull toward the front out of the engagements (4). | ||
| 8 | Extend rear shelf (1) out of the left and right side trim in the rear passenger compartment. | ||
| 9 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of the speakers. | Model 118.3, 177.1/9 with code 810 (Premium sound system) with code 853 ("Midline" sound system) except code 287 (Through-loading feature) |

| 10 | Remove rear shelf (1). | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order. |
