Remove/Install Center Console - AR68.20-P-2000MFA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Open rear stowage compartment (1).    
3.1 Release catch hooks (10), swivel the rear stowage compartment (1) out, and release and disconnect electrical connectors. Model 118, 177, 247
with code PAC (Value Package)
Model 243
with code U80 (115 V socket)
NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will otherwise result in damage to electric lines and can impair their function.
IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

3.2 Release catch hooks (10) and swivel rear stowage compartment (1) out. Model 118, 177, 247

4 Remove rear stowage compartment (1).    
5 Unclip rear cover (2) in the direction of the arrow (A).    
6 Remove nuts (3).    
7 Remove cover from center console.   AR68.20-P-2350MFA 
8 Remove screws (4) and remove bracket (5).    
9 Remove nut (6).    
10 Remove screws (7).    
11 Pull out center console (8) toward the rear and remove carefully. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will otherwise result in damage to electric lines and can impair their function.
NOTES
Protect adjacent component parts against damage with suitable means.
The risk exists otherwise of damaging component parts.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Guide guides (9) on left and right under floor covering.
 
INSPECT Check     
12 Check catch hooks of the rear cover (2) for damage. If catch hooks are damaged,

replace rear cover (2).
 
13 Install in the reverse order.
