| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Move front passenger seat into the rearmost position. | ||
| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Remove screw/bolts (2). | ||
| 4 | Unclip front right footwell ambient lighting (E43/82) and release and disconnect electrical connector. | ||
| 5 | Carefully pull footwell trim (1) toward the rear and lower as far as possible. | ||
| 6 | Remove potential distributors (3) in the direction of the arrow (arrows A) from the footwell trim (1). | ||
| 7 | Unclip retaining clips (4) from footwell trim (1) and remove footwell trim (1). | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
