The union nuts of the low-pressure line (7) and the high-pressure lines (6, 8) may only be tightened after installation of the low-pressure line (7) and high-pressure lines (6, 8) using a tightening torque.
Leakage will occur otherwise.
Do not kink or bend and low-pressure line (7) and high-pressure lines (6, 8).
- Loosely mount low-pressure line (7) on high-pressure pumps (2, 3).
- Tighten screw/bolts (9) after aligning the low-pressure line (7) and the high-pressure lines (6, 8)

- Mount high-pressure line (8) on left rail (5) and on left high-pressure pump (3).
Clamps (1) must be aligned before screwing on. Check for correct routing of the low-pressure line (7) and the high-pressure lines (6, 8).
- Mount high-pressure line (6) on the right rail (4) and on right high-pressure pump (2).
ENGINE 177 in MODEL 205
- Tighten clamp (1) of the low-pressure line (7) and the high-pressure lines (6, 8) to cylinder head cover
- Tighten union nuts
Comply with the tightening torques exactly.
Leaks can occur otherwise.
ENGINE 176 in MODEL 463
