- Remove nuts (1) Engine 176 in model 463 with transmission 722.9
up to model year 2019
Engine 177 in model 205 with transmission 722.9

- Engine 176 in model 463 up to model year 2019 Remove ground line at the lower screw/bolt (2).
- Remove screws (2) from transmission bell housing.
- Remove cover (3).
- Turn engine at center bolt of crankshaft with the
box wrench in direction of engine rotation and, in doing so, check the toothing of the ring gear of clutch plate (4) for damage.
Only turn engine at the center bolt of the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation using the specified box wrench. Otherwise, damage to the engine or even failure of the engine may occur.
If damage is present:

Install drive plate (4).
Insert retaining lock (5) into access opening.
If necessary, continue turning engine at center bolt of crankshaft with the
box wrench in direction of engine rotation until
retaining lock (5) engages.
- Remove in the reverse order.
