| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover (1) at bottom (arrows A) and release at retaining clamps (2). | Fig 1 | |
| 3 | Remove cover at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side. | AR68.10-P-1500LW | |
| 4 | Remove driver kneebag. | Model 205 as of model year 2019 with code 294 (Kneebag) Model 253 (except 253.992/993) as of model year 2020 with code 294 (Kneebag) |

| 5 | Unclip cover (3) from catch hooks (arrows C) and remove forward. | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector at KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3). | ||
| 7 | Unclip KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) at catch hooks (arrows B) and remove towards rear. | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
