The left lower control panel and the right lower control panel are installed in the center console.
Tasks
The following buttons can be installed in the left lower control panel, depending on the equipment specification:
- AGILITY SELECT switch (up to model year 2016, except AMG vehicles, except manual transmission)
- DYNAMIC SELECT switch (for AMG vehicles and as of model year 2016 in model 205/253 with automatic transmission)
- Vehicle level button (with automatic transmission and for model 205 with code 489 (AIRMATIC) or for model 253 with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL))
- Rear window roller sunblind button (with manual transmission and with code 540 (Electric roller sunblind for rear window))
- Parking system button (with automatic transmission and with code 235 (Parking Pilot with PARKTRONIC))
- PARKTRONIC button (N72/4s15) (model 205 with automatic transmission as of 02.03.2018, model 253.99 with code 235 (Parking Pilot with PARKTRONIC) and except code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL))
- Volume adjustment button (with manual transmission)
- "ON" button (with manual transmission)
- ECO start/stop function button (except hybrid vehicles)
- Operating mode selection button (on model 253.99 or for hybrid vehicles)
- Seat belt extender button (model 205.3/4 with manual transmission)
- Manual shift mode button (with AMG vehicles)

- Sport exhaust system button (up to model year 2016 with code U78 (AMG Sport exhaust system))
- ESP® OFF button (model 253 with automatic transmission)
The signals from all the buttons are read in by the left lower control panel and the right lower control panel and read in over the LCP LIN (LIN A3), Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9), telematics CAN (CAN A) and the head unit (A26/17) and then sent to the user interface CAN (CAN HMI).
