Taxi/rental vehicle function, general 

The taxi/rental vehicle base function contains the multifunction control unit to control and monitor various functions, the taxi two-way radio speaker and a specific vehicle wiring harness that enables different equipment to be integrated in the vehicle.

The following equipment can be integrated:

• Two-way radio (accessories) or radio data transceiver (accessories)
• Taximeter (with CODE 336 (Taximeter mounting console in OCP)) or mirror taximeter (with CODE 337 (Taximeter integrated into rearview mirror))
• Roof sign lamp (with CODE 342 (CONNECTION FOR TAXI ROOF SIGN))

The individual functions are enabled using the diagnostic tester.

The basic taxi/rental vehicle function consists of the following subfunctions, which are described in separate documents:

• Mirror taximeter function (with CODE 337 (Taximeter integrated into rearview mirror)) 
• Taximeter function (with CODE 336 (Taximeter mounting console in OCP)) 
• Two-way radio integration, function 
• Hands-free system radio frequency function (with CODE 938 (Hands-free two-way radio)) 
• Emergency alarm function (with CODE 934 (Taxi/rental car emergency alarm system))
