| Remove/Install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Loosen edge guard (1) in area of cover (2). | ||
| 3 | Unclip cover (2) and remove. | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Release catch hooks (3), remove fuse and relay module on driver's side (k40/6) and place to one side with connected electric lines. | ||
| 5 | Release shackles (4) for catch hooks (5) from electric parking brake switch (s76/15) using a suitable tool. | ||
| 6 | Swivel switch for electric parking brake (s76/15) inwards in the direction of the firewall and remove upwards out of the guide (6). | ||
| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (7) from switch for electric parking brake (S76/15). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
