Remove/Install Front Door Lining - AR72.10-P-1000LW

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Completely open front door.    
2 Move side window to lowest position.    
3 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of the transmission range (for at least 2 minutes).    
4 Remove screw/bolt (2).    
5 Remove bolt (13). Model 205.0/1/2

6 Remove cover in area of door handle (14) using suitable tool and remove screw located underneath. Model 205.3/4  
7 Remove cover (20) and remove screw (21) located underneath. Model 205.4 SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
8 At front and rear, reach into outermost area (arrows a) of door stowage compartment (3) and release door lining (1) from front door by pulling with a jerk. NOTES
Detach door lining (1) by hand.
The door lining (1) can be damaged when using the assembly wedge.
IMPORTANT Hold front door in position when pulling door lining.
Aid of helper required.
 
9 Unclip remaining retaining clips of door lining (1) up to inner sealing rail (4) (arrow A).    
10 Starting from the front up to the height of release knob (5), carefully remove door lining (1) from inner sealing rail (4) (arrow B).    
11 In door lock area, carefully remove (arrow C) door lining (1) from front door in direction of arrow (arrow D) until this can be slid upwards over window frame lining (6) and moved out of retaining clip (7) and/or retaining clip (7) releases from inner door panel of front door.    
12 Remove door lining (1) from front door to extent that electrical connectors (10, 11) and inside door opener wire (8) can be accessed.    
13 Detach inside door opener wire (8) at support (9).    
14 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (10, 11) at front door control unit (16).    
15 Release and disconnect electrical connector (12) at speaker (15).    
16 Remove door lining (1) and check retaining clip (7) for damage. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT If retaining clip (7) remains in door during removal, remove retaining clip (7) and insert in corresponding bracket of door lining (1).
If damage is present,

Replace retaining clip (7).
 
17 Install in the reverse order.    
INSPECT Check     
18 Check transition of lower edge (arrow G) of panel (19) to trim element of instrument panel. Model 213
If there is a problem,

Remove cover (17) and adjust transition by turning (arrows E, F) adjusting unit (18).
