| 1 | Remove front bumper | AR88.20-P-2000LW | |
| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector of left front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/1) and right front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/3) | ||
| 3 | Remove hose (2) from groove in impact absorber (1) | Ensure that hose (2) is seated correctly in impact absorber (1). The hose (2) must be routed without any tension or kinks. Malfunctions can occur otherwise. |

| 4 | Remove expansion rivets (3) | ||
| 5 | Remove left front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/1) and right front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/3) together with hose (2) | Left front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/1) and right front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/3) are permanently connected to hose (2) and must not be separated. Malfunctions can occur otherwise. |
