	Remove/install
1	Adjust steering column forwards and all the way up.	When removing driver seat.
2	Move front seat (1) forward and all the way up
3	Remove screws (2) from guide rails. j "	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
4	Remove covers (3).
5	Move front seat (1) to the rear and all the way down.
6	Unclip trim (6) towards rear and remove.
7	Remove seat belt end fitting (7).	Model 205.0/1/2 Model 213 Model 253, 293

8	Remove bolts (5).	Bolt, front seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01T
9	Remove covers (4).
10	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.	Model 293	AR54.10-P-0003EQ

11	Tilt back front seat (1).
12	Disconnect pneumatic line from underside of front seat (1).	Model 205.0/1/2/3, 253, 293 with code 409 (Left and right front multicontour seat) Model 213 with code 432 (Dynamic seats left and right) Model 238 with code 399 (Front multicontour seat with massage function)
13	Disconnect electrical connectors from underside of front seat (1).	The number of electrical connectors is dependent on the vehicle equipment.
14	Cover center console, steering wheel, door entry sill and door sill.

15	Remove front seat (1) from vehicle.	Carefully remove front seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise vehicle components may be damaged. Helper required.
16	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against falling over.
17	Install in the reverse order.
