| 1 | Move soft top to repair position R2 | AR77.30-P-1030LWR | |
| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Cover rear fender | ||
| 4 | Remove bolt (2) at top of hydraulic cylinder (1) | ||
| 5 | Expose hydraulic lines (3) | ||
| 6 | Remove lock washers (4) from hydraulic lines (3) | ||
| 7 | Remove hydraulic lines (3) from hydraulic cylinder (1) | ||
| 8 | Seal hydraulic lines (3) and connections of hydraulic cylinder (1) with stop plugs | Fig 1 | |
| 9 | Lift retainer (5) using a suitable screwdriver, detach and remove hydraulic cylinder (1) at bottom | Retainer (5) preload can otherwise be lost. |
