Cut Out Panoramic Roof Frame - AR77.21-P-0800-01LF

Model 205.0/1/2/3 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof)

IMPORTANT Work procedure is shown on model 222.

IMPORTANT Helper required to cut adhesive beads.

  1. Cove adjacent paint surfaces with SPECIAL TOOL shields.

    NOTES Cover adjacent paint surfaces with SPECIAL TOOL shields when cutting.

    Otherwise paint can be damage by cutting wire.

  2. Punch through adhesive bead at rear right corner on front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) with pull-in aid (3) as shown and guide cutting wire through.

  3. Cut through adhesive bead (2) on front panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) in the cutting area (A).

  4. Cut through adhesive bead (2) on front panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) in the cutting area (B), up to the right reinforcement (1.2).

  5. Punch adhesive bead on rear flange of the front panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) with pull-in device (3) as shown and guide through cutting wire.

  6. Cut adhesive bead (2) on front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) in cutting area (C).
  7. Punch adhesive bead on rear left corner or front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) with pull-in device (3), as shown and guide through cutting wire.

  8. Cut adhesive bead (2) on front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) in cutting area (D).

  9. Cut adhesive bead (2) on front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) in cutting area (E) up to left reinforcement (1.1).
  10. Behind the left reinforcement (1.1), insert an SPECIAL TOOL assembly wedge between the front panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) and the side roof frame.

    IMPORTANT The SPECIAL TOOL assembly wedge lifts front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) and cutting wire can be guided below right reinforcement (1.1).

  11. Cut adhesive beads (2, 3) on front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) in cutting area (F) up to right reinforcement (1.2).

    IMPORTANT The profiling at the front of the roof frame can make it difficult to cut through the glue beads (2, 3), because the cutting wire runs directly on the sheet metal flange.

  12. Behind the right reinforcement (1.2) insert an SPECIAL TOOL assembly wedge between the front panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) and the front roof frame.

    IMPORTANT The SPECIAL TOOL assembly wedge lifts front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) and cutting wire can be guided below right reinforcement (1.2).

  13. Cut adhesive bead (2) on front panoramic sliding roof frame (1) in cutting area (G).
