Wiring diagrams
- The wiring diagrams are filed in the respective function group according to the PE number, e.g.:PE07.08-P-2101FBA

- The wiring diagrams are prepared as function schematics, control unit diagrams and solder point wiring diagrams, ground wiring diagrams and connector wiring diagrams, and are structured as follows:
- Function schematics
The control units and electrical components required for the function are shown as symbols. The functional connections are realized by direct lines or by the data bus.
- Control unit diagrams
Control units are represented complete with all connected components.
- Solder point wiring diagrams, ground wiring diagrams and connector wiring diagrams
Solder points, ground points and electrical connection, which are not shown completely in any control unit diagram, are shown here complete with all connected components.
The wiring diagrams also contain linkages of possible versions and functions.
Linkages, recognizable as versions, are framed and provided with an abbreviated designation/abbreviation.
The versions are designated with 1 and 2.
- The variants identified by the abbreviation "U..." or "Code..." are listed in the legends. Explanations regarding identification of variants with abbreviations such as ESP can be found in "Abbreviations for Workshop Literature" OV00.01-P-1001-27A.
The used signal and terminal designations are explained under "Abbreviations of signal and circuit designations for wiring diagrams" OV00.01-P-1001-28FBA *(A5).
- The vehicle identification end numbers or production breakpoint dates stated apply to the introduction of the main series. Pre-series vehicles may have a lower vehicle identification end number or an earlier start of production.
- Wire cross-sections may differ from the illustration in the wiring diagrams.
