| 1 | Remove cover over brake fluid reservoir. | ||

| 3 | Remove cap of brake fluid reservoir and suction off some brake fluid. | ||

| 5 | Unhook brake hose (1) from holders (arrows A). | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector of right front brakepad wear sensor (S10/2). | On the right side of the vehicle. | |
| 7 | Unscrew screw (2) and place plug housing of right front brakepad wear sensor (S10/2) to one side. | On the right side of the vehicle. | |
| 8 | Remove Bolt (3). | ||
| 9 | Swivel brake caliper (4) upward and secure against folding down. | ||
| 10 | Unclip upper and lower return spring (5) of brakepads (6) from brake caliper support (7) (arrows B). | ||
| 11 | Remove brakepads (6) from brake caliper support (7). | ||
| 12 | Remove sliding plates (8). | When replacing brakepads (6). | |
| Check | |||
| 13 | Check brakepads (6) for wear and condition. | ||
| If there is a problem, ↓ replace brakepads (6) in sets. |

| 21 | Install brakepads (6). | ||
| 22 | Press brakepads (6) against brake disc and swivel brake caliper (4) downward. | ||

| 24 | Tighten plug housing of right front brakepad wear sensor (S10/2) using screw (2). | On the right side of the vehicle. |
