1 Remove wheel and tire assemblies.   AR40.10-P-1102A
MEASURING Measure     
2 Measure thickness of brake discs (1) on front and rear axles using vernier caliper. Model 213, 253 except code B07 (AMG - ceramic brake system)

If the wear limit has been exceeded or will be exceeded before the next brakepad change.

Replace brake disc (1) in a pair.		 Fig 1

    Remove/install brake disc (1) on front axle
Model 293		 AR42.10-P-0230EQ
    Remove/install brake disc (1) on rear axle
Model 293		 AR42.10-P-0240EQ
INSPECT Check     
3 Check brake disc (1) on front and rear axle for corrosion, score marks, cracks and chippings. Model 213, 253 except code B07 (AMG - ceramic brake system)

IMPORTANT For a brake disc (1) that is perforated or has sunk holes, assess crack length (x) including bore diameter.

INSTALLING Install     
5 Attach wheel and tire assemblies.   AR40.10-P-1102A
