INSPECT Check     
1 Drive the vehicle onto the measuring station and secure using the parking brake IMPORTANT The measuring system must be approved by Mercedes-Benz.  
2 Perform preparations for distance and comparative measurements MODEL 172, 204, 207, 212, 218

3 Carry out distance and comparison measurements on front and rear axles MODEL 172, 204, 207, 212, 218 AR40.30-P-0402CW 
    MODEL 217, 222, 231
IMPORTANT These measurements determine whether i is necessary to replace chassis components or repair the body on the straightening bench. If there is visible damage (e.g. crack formation or deformation) on the front axle or rear axle carrier, these parts must be replaced.		 AR40.30-P-0402RK
4 Repair vehicle IMPORTANT Where damage has been detected.  
5 Perform wheel alignment check MODEL 231 AR40.20-P-0200R
