| 1 | Remove cover over brake fluid reservoir (1). | ||

| 3 | Release and detach electrical connector (2) from brake fluid level switch. | ||
| 4 | Remove cap (6) and remove sieve from brake fluid reservoir (1). | ||
| 5 | Extract brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir (1). | ||
| 6 | Detach hose from brake fluid reservoir (1) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs. | Model 205, 213, 253 with transmission 716 Protect painted surfaces from brake fluid. Otherwise, the paint will be damaged. |

| 7 | Remove screw (7). | Instead of the screw (7), remove the installed safety pin. |

| 8 | Remove brake fluid reservoir (1) from master brake cylinder (8) and seal connections using suitable stop plugs. | Collect brake fluid which runs out with an absorbent rag. Otherwise, the paint will be damaged. |
