Structure 

Two-piece brake disk without fasteners, consisting of brake plate (1) and steel metal casing (2).

Corrosion protection 

Handling the composite brake disk 

Avoid any metallic impacts (risk of damaging corrosion protection)

Avoid any shocks, impacts to the brake plate (e.g. on mount carrier) or use installed disk as padding/supporting surface (e.g. for steering knuckle)

Avoid steering knuckle turning against steering resistance through composite brake disk pressure
