1. Install black/white line (BK/WH) into contact cavity 8 of front center console electrical connector (X138/1).

   The contact cavities are labeled.

2. Install black line (BK) into contact cavity 9 of front center console electrical connector (X138/1).

   The contact cavities are labeled.

3. Route CAN wiring harness (1) along existing lines to head unit end sleeve CAN (low) (Z35/32z1) and head unit end sleeve CAN (high) (Z35/31z1).

4. Solder black/white line (BK/WH) to head unit end sleeve CAN (high) (Z35/31z1).

   The end sleeve (14) and the adapter and the reflector are available in the basic wiring harness repair kit or the supplementary wiring harness repair kit.

   When making the soldering joint use welding pearl catcher.

5. Wrap the end sleeve (14) with fabric tape.
6. Solder black line (BK) to head unit end sleeve CAN (Low) (Z35/32z1).

   The end sleeve (14) and the adapter and the reflector are available in the basic wiring harness repair kit or the supplementary wiring harness repair kit.

   When making the soldering joint use welding pearl catcher.

7. Wrap the end sleeve (14) with fabric tape.
8. Fasten CAN wiring harness (1) in place using cable ties.
