Install Rear Inner Wheel Well - Ar63.10-P-0670-04LWR

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.
- Install wheel well (1), fit and fix in place.
- Drill rivet holes on wheel well (1) with Ø 6.7 mm bit (areas A).
Drill rivet holes from inside through present holes in body (areas A).
- Remove wheel well (1).
- Deburr rivet holes on wheel well (1) and body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install wheel well (1) and fix in place.
- Rivet rear wheel (1) with Ø 6.5x12.5 rivet (area B).
Clamping range 4.4 mm
- Rivet rear wheel (1) with Ø 6.5x12.5 rivet (area C)
Clamping range 3.7 mm
- Wheel well (1)
(area D).
- Install mounting console (2) with portal bracket, fit and fix in place.
- Drill rivet holes in mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm (area E).
- Remove mounting console (2).
- Drill rivet holes in mounting console (2) and deburr on body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.
- Install mounting console (2) with portal bracket, fit and fix in place.
- Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.4x12 rivet (area F).
Clamping range 1.8 mm.
- Mounting console (2)
(areas G).
- Remove portal bracket.
- Install front end plate (3), fit and fix in place.
- Drill rivet holes on front end plate (3) with Ø 6.7 mm bit (area H).
Drill rivet holes through defined holes in front end plate (3) (area H).
- Remove front end plate (3).
- Deburr rivet holes on front end plate (3) and body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install front end plate (3) and fix in place.
- Rivet front end plate (3) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivet (areas K1
).
Clamping range 5.2 mm
- Rivet front end plate (3) with Ø 6.5x12.5 rivet (area K2
).
Clamping range 4.4 mm
- Rivet front end plate (3) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivet (area K3
).
Clamping range 6.0 mm
- Rivet front end plate (3) with Ø 6.5x12.5 (areas K4
).
Clamping range 3.6 mm
- Rivet front end plate (3) with Ø 6.4 M6 (areas K5
).
Clamping range 7.1 mm
- Front end plate (3)
(areas I).
- Front end plate (3)
(areas J).
- Install rear end plate (4), fit and fix in place.
- Drill rivet holes on rear end plate (4) with Ø 6.7 mm (areas L1
and L2
).
Drill rivet holes through present holes in rear end plate (4) (area L1 ).
- Remove rear end plate (4).
- Deburr rivet holes on rear end plate (4) and boy on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to crosshatched area of body.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install rear end plate (4) and fix in place.
- Rivet rear end plate (4) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivet (areas M1
).
Clamping range 4.8 mm
- Rivet rear end plate (4) with Ø 6.4 M6 rivet (area M2
).
Clamping range 7.0 mm
- Rivet rear end plate (4) with Ø 6.4 rivet (areas M3
).
Clamping range 9.0 mm
- Rivet rear end plate (4) with Ø 6.4 M6 rivet (area M4
).
Clamping range 6.5 mm
