- Seal connecting flanges, welded joints and riveted joints of the repaired area with sealant or seam seal.
Observe standard sealing.
Seal only primed body parts.
Seal accessible spot weld flanges on both sides.
Ensure that the threads of the weld nuts and threaded pins as well as the drain openings and contact surfaces of the axle attachments, windows or detachable parts are kept free of seam sealant material.
- Insert grommets and feed-through grommets with sealant.
