The following operation steps are shown on model 177.0.

1. Expose spot welds on upper rear roof frame (1) and cut off (A areas).

2. Heat the upper rear roof frame (1) in the cross-hatched areas (B areas).

   Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.

3. Remove the upper rear roof frame (1).

4. Expose spot welds on lower rear roof frame (2) and cut off (C areas).
5. Take off damaged lower rear roof frame (2).
6. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

7. Remove grinding and drill chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
8. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

   Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (D areas).

   Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.
