The next steps are shown on model 177.1. The work must be performed in the same way on model 177.9.
- Grind mating surfaces on the rear roof paneling (1) in the cross-hatched areas down to bare metal (areas A).
- Remove grinding dust.
- Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges. (areas A).
Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint.
Otherwise adhesion problems can occur.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
