The next steps are shown on model 177.1. The work must be performed similarly on model 177.9.
- Grind mating surfaces of the center roof paneling (1) in the cross-hatched areas down to bare metal on both sides (areas A).
- Remove grinding dust.
- Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges (areas A).
