The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.
The following operation steps are shown on model 177.0.
- Grind mating surfaces of the center roof paneling (1) in the cross-hatched areas down to bare metal on both sides (areas A and B).
- Drill holes for plug welds in center roof paneling (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (area C).
Transfer holes from old part.
- Deburr holes for plug welds on the center roof paneling (1) on both sides.
- Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
