- Saw off an approx. 5 mm to 10 mm wide strip (A) from front edge of front fixed element (1).
Saw carefully.
Otherwise the top seal (2) and the windshield can be damaged.
Observe cutting depth when sawing.
Otherwise, front panoramic sliding sunroof frame can be damaged.
Use oscillating saw with round sawing blade.
- Saw off an approx. 5 mm to 10 mm wide strip (B) from the left or right edge of the front fixed element (1).
Observe cutting depth when sawing.
Otherwise, front panoramic sliding sunroof frame can be damaged.
Use oscillating saw with round sawing blade.
- Cut adhesive bead (3) with cutting wire in direction of arrow.
Cover adjacent paint surfaces with
set of shields when cutting.
Otherwise paint can be damage by cutting wire.
Helper required.
- Remove front fixed element (1) from panoramic sliding sunroof frame.
