Mark the separating points on the side of roof paneling (1) and separate them (areas A1 , A 2 and A3 ).
Do not make the cuts too deep.
Otherwise the component parts below can be damaged and weakened.

Mark the separating points on the side of roof paneling (1) and separate them (areas A1 , A2 , A3 and A 4 ).

Expose spot welds on the side of roof paneling (1) and mill them off (areas B1 , B2 , B3 and B4 ).

Expose spot welds on the side of roof paneling (1) and mill them off (areas B1 , B2 , B 3 , B4 and B5 ).

- Heat side roof paneling (1) in crosshatched areas.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove side roof paneling (1).
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Apply zinc dust paint to insides of spot weld flanges onto connecting flanges that are no longer accessible after installing side roof paneling.
